Tilted Mill Interview Part II
Part II of our Q&A with Chris Beatrice and Jeff Fiske of Tilted Mill Entertainment
Date: Monday, August 04, 2008
Author: Troy S. Goodfellow

So you are optimistic about the future?

We’re psyched, actually. I mean, in a lot of ways we feel like a startup, but a startup with a lot of resources, technology and a really elite team. So all we need to do is make the games we want to make. I don’t think we are wrong about the PC market. Digital distribution is going to get better. When I said earlier that the PC audience is the same, the bad part of that is there is a lot more competition out there. If we can’t make games that people want to play, then that’s our problem. It just comes down to us doing it.

And we have a loyal fan base and a history. We’re not just some guys who are making a new game called Hinterland, and if we were, we probably wouldn’t be on the phone with you talking about it. We have a lot of advantages with our name and back catalog.

Making games is making entertainment that the user can muck around with and also there’s this technology component. It’s a huge challenge to make a game that works, let alone one that is fun. But I think we’re up to it.

We'd like to thank Chris and Jeff for taking the time to speak with us. You can learn more about Tilted Mill an the company's website .
