Sword of the Stars Screenshot Contest Winners!
The winning entries in all their glory!
Date: Monday, December 22, 2008
Author: Dave VanDyk

While the winning images represent what I feel to be the most unique and visually interesting out of those submitted, there were a few other screenshots that were so close to being selected, I felt they deserved an honorary mention:

Nathan – This runner-up screenshot shows the perversions of nature that can happen when a slight bug slips through QA. In this case, a Destroyer with a disproportionate Cruiser-section for a head – or as Nathan more accurately refers to it, a Bobble Head ship. The problem has long-since been fixed, of course. | Larger Image

Martin – For his aptly-named contribution of “Hiver Extreme Sports”. I think this brilliance speaks for itself. | Larger Image

the_ubernoob – For showing us the kind of excruciating broadside attack only a Dreadnaught can bring. | Larger Image

That’s it, folks! Thanks again to everyone who participated – winners will be contacted shortly to confirm their address details.
