Vivox and Pixel Mine announced today that Pixel Mine's FireTeam: Reloaded will include integrated voice chat and a stand alone, custom-branded desktop communications client from Vivox. Austin based Pixel Mine recently launched as a provider of short play titles that focus on community and maintain high production values. Vivox will provide Pixel Mine with customized voice communication services that are integrated with FireTeam: Reloaded, and with future titles. Players will be able to talk with team members, as well as opponents, in Team and Game Channels through the in-game user interface. In addition, fans can watch the action and communicate with one another on a Spectator Channel. Each channel is secure and equipped with management and moderator controls that provide the player full ability to create private group chat channels and mute other players on demand directly from the game UI. Voice communications will also be available in the Game Lobby where players may create user and buddy lists and organize pre- and post-game activities.
