XFX, a manufacturer of high-performance video cards, has created XFX Challenge 2007. This contest is aimed at finding the next great American pro gamers. For gamers across the United States, the opportunity to achieve gaming glory and become a professional gamer is now within reach. Five finalists from the XFX Challenge will be invited to attend the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) 2007 World Championship, which begins on December 6, in Los Angeles, and compete in the CGS 2008 Region 1 Combine, where they will become eligible for the 2008 Region 1 Draft and a possible contract to play for a CGS team.

XFX Challenge One 2007, is a nationwide Counter Strike: Source competition that launched on September 10, and is seeking top U.S. gamers for an official XFX gaming team. The mobile phase of the tour kicks off October 18th, at the E for All Expo in Los Angeles, and will continue touring the country to numerous destinations

Along the tour, five finalists will travel on a fully-equipped rock- star gaming tour bus, competing to win prizes and money in major gaming tournaments and defending their spot on the bus against challengers. While on the road, XFX contestants will be coached by pro gamers, such as Fatal1ty, to sharpen their gaming skills in preparation for the CGS Region 1 2008 Combine.
