SEGA of America details its Universe at War: Earth Assault ‘Play and Win’ Promotion in partnership with Games for Windows– LIVE.

SEGA of America today announced its Universe at War: Earth Assault ‘Play and Win’ Promotion in partnership with Games for Windows– LIVE. Beginning on December 14th through the 16th, all LIVE gamers that register and play Universe at War: Earth Assault online will be eligible to win a wide range of prizes that will be given out on an hourly basis. Prize-winners will be chosen from gamers playing online when the hourly winner is selected. Players will also have the chance to play against the developers of Universe at War: Earth Assault on December 14th between the hours of 3pm to 7pm PST or 6pm to 10pm EST. Universe at War: Earth Assault will be the first 3rd-party title to support Games for Windows -LIVE platform inter-operable play between the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Universe at War. The PC version of Universe at War is shipping early December 2007 and will come with 1 month free trial Gold membership for Games for Windows -LIVE, while the Xbox 360 version is due for release in Q1 2008.

The grand prize includes a Custom Built gaming Windows Vista PC with Universe at War art on the PC case, 24” widescreen Dell monitor, Sidewinder mouse, Games for Windows Jacket, Universe at War Art Book, Universe at War Brady Games Strategy Guide, 1-yr Gold membership card for Games for Windows -LIVE, Universe at War mouse-pad. Three second place winners will recieve an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphics card, Sidewinder mouse, Universe at War Brady Games Strategy Guide, 1-yr Gold membership card for Games for Windows -LIVE, and Universe at War mouse-pad. Finally, the Hourly Prize Package (Quantity 68) includes the Universe at War Brady Games Strategy Guide, Games for Windows T-shirt, 1-yr Gold membership card for Games for Windows -LIVE, and a Universe at War mouse-pad.
