Publishing powerhouse, Ubisoft, has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed for PC will be available in stores at end of March 2008. After the success of the 360 and PS3 versions, Assassin’s Creed – Director’s Cut Edition will be heading home for PC users with some extra content added in for the delay. The PC version will feature four brand new types of investigations that you will be able to perform throughout the cities as you hunt for and locate information on your targets. These side missions will allow players to explore areas not available to the console versions and let you experience the main character, Altair’s surroundings more deeply.

“We are thrilled to bring Assassin’s Creed to an eager PC audience and we anticipate the game will resonate with them just has it has across the other platforms,” said John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft. “Assassin’s Creed is a game that must be experienced firsthand to fully understand how dynamic and meaningful this title has become for video game fans worldwide.”

Owing to the lack of an overarching storyline, Mount & Blade is a game that’s difficult to get into at first. If you can get past the growing pains, however, it offers a compelling, dynamic world that you are free to explore at your leisure and a combat model that is both frenetic and addicting.
