THQ has announced that Frontlines: Fuel of War has shipped to store shelves worldwide for the Xbox 360 and Windows-based PC. Frontlines: Fuel of War is an infantry and vehicle based FPS set against a desperate near-future energy crisis in which the Western Coalition and the Red Star Alliance are battling over the world’s last oil reserves.

The single-player campaign follows the brave soldiers of the Western Coalition Stray Dogs division, as they battle on the frontlines with a huge arsenal of over 60 next-generation vehicles and weapons. The game lets players experience the intense battlefields of tomorrow through a single-player campaign as well as online multiplayer that features 50 player dedicated servers for the Xbox 360 and 64 players for Windows PC.
