Following the recent ESRB rating of Darwinia+ for the Xbox 360, the game’s developer, Introversion, have confirmed that the game is indeed coming to the 360’s LIVE arcade service by way of a post on their forums. The developers say that they are working hard to bring Darwinia and the next title in the franchise “Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest” to the console by the fall of 2008 in one package called Darwinia+.

"Multiwinia is the natural conclusion of what we started with Darwinia way back in 2002 and, with the launch of Live Arcade, Microsoft has presented us with a fantastic opportunity to get onto a rung of the console ladder. We're really looking forward to introducing Darwinia+ to a whole new audience. As announced, Multiwinia will also be released separately on the PC."

Owing to the lack of an overarching storyline, Mount & Blade is a game that’s difficult to get into at first. If you can get past the growing pains, however, it offers a compelling, dynamic world that you are free to explore at your leisure and a combat model that is both frenetic and addicting.
