JoWooD and The Adventure Company have announced that they have entered into a partnership with Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing to develop a series of interactive games based on the works of the boy detectives, The Hardy Boys.

“Fans have been waiting and we are set to deliver an adventure series that is certain to become a family classic,” said Albert Seidl, President and CEO for the JoWooD Group. “The Hardy Boys have been with us for decades and generations of fans will not only be thrilled that they can finally play the part of their favorite teenage detective brothers, but can share the adventure with their children and grandchildren.”

JoWooD and The Adventure Company say their goal is to create a series of games that remain true to the original stories and characters in The Hardy Boys with varied environments, challenging and thought provoking puzzles in an easy-to-use gaming interface.
