Those looking for your zombie fix are going to have to wait a little longer. In a recent interview with
GameKings
, Valve head Honcho Gabe Newell stated that the game has been pushed back 2 weeks, from its original November 4th release date.
"Left 4 Dead is going to be released on the tenth anniversary of Half-Life, our first game, so that'll be on November 20th, the third week in November."
Valve has been iffy with release dates in the past, but thankfully it’s only a 2 week delay this time and not months like it was when Half-Life 2 was released.
