Sigourney Weaver Adds Voice to Avatar
Not a bad gig after passing on Ghostbusters.

Ubisoft has revealed that actress Sigourney Weaver (the mom from Heart Breakers – yes I could have referenced Alien or Ghostbusters, but I liked Heart Breakers) will voice the role of Dr. Grace Augustine for the upcoming, James Cameron's Avatar: The Game – not the Avatar: Last Airbender - for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and PC.

"We are very excited to have actors from the film provide voiceover work for the different versions of the video game,” said Patrick Naud, executive producer for James Cameron's Avatar: The Game. "Having the characters from the film voiced by the actors that portrayed them appear in the game adds a level of authenticity you just can't get any other way.”

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game will take you deep into the heart of Pandora, an alien planet that is beyond imagination. Gamers will encounter the Na'vi, Pandora's indigenous people. When conflict erupts between the RDA Corporation, a space-faring consortium in search of valuable resources, and the Na'vi, gamers will find themselves in a fight for the heart of a planet and the fate of a civilization.
