THQ has confirmed that the Windows PC version of the upcoming first-person-shooter, Homefront, from Kaos Studios is being developed by theCanadian-based studio, Digital Extremes and is scheduled for release alongside the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in early 2011.

Homefront takes place in the year 2027, where America has fallen to occupation by the nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic. Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles.
