2K Sports has announced that NBA 2K11 is available now on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP and Windows PC. The game will be available for the Nintendo Wii from Nintendo in mid-October.

“Michael Jordan is much more than a cover athlete for NBA 2K11,” said Greg Thomas, president of product development for 2K Sports. “Building a game mode specifically for the greatest player of all time takes the NBA 2K series to the next level. This is something that has never been done in a video game and we’re happy to be the ones to bring this to the fans.”

This season, players can take the role of Michael Jordan for the first time and relive his greatest moments with the Jordan Challenge in NBA 2K11. With realistic physics, lifelike player models, broadcast-quality presentations and feature-rich simulation, NBA 2K11 is the most dynamic and complete experience ever available in the NBA 2K franchise.

New DLC brings back some fan favorites to take on some pivotal roles.
