Prey 2 is in the Making
Human Head Studios Rekindles its First

Prey 2 has been announced for a 2012 release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Human Head Studios is once again helming development, while Bethesda Softworks has picked up the publishing rights from 2K Games.

The original Prey told the story of Tommy, a Cherokee indian who is abducted by aliens along with his neighbors. Prey was generally well-received and was praised for introducing unique game-mechanics, but widely criticized for failing to integrate such mechanics into an already strained story. The best clue as to Prey 2's concept comes from Project Lead Chris Rhinehart, when he says that, “Prey 2 will provide gamers the opportunity to explore a new facet of the Prey universe, one that offers fast-paced action in an open, alien world.” More information is expected to be availble in early April.
