The Darkspore open beta is available to play, beginning today, April 12, through April 22, giving you access to the first 12 stages and teh PvP arena.

Sure, "Open Beta" is really just a clever way to make a trial sound more exclusive and tempting (Darkspore launches April 26), but that's no reason to turn down a free game.
