The Witcher 2 DLC (mainly) Free
Launching with an additional side-quest.
Date: Monday, May 16, 2011
Author: Brian Rowe

During a Q&A session on the GameStop Facebook page, CD Projekt announced that some downloadable content for The Witcher 2 will be completely free.

"Let me announce that all our DLCs will be FREE. All of them. If anything will be for purchase, those will be expansion packs. First DLC (side-quest called "Troll Trouble") airs together with the game release."

There are a few exceptions, of course. Full expansions will be excluded, along with retailer-specific pre-order bonuses, as stated later in the Q&A.

New DLC brings back some fan favorites to take on some pivotal roles.
