More Fallout: New Vegas Bug Woes
Does anything work anymore?

Playing Fallout: New Vegas scares me, and because of feral ghouls or those pesky Rangers that seem to appear out of thin air. No, I'm afraid that anything I do might unleash some rampant game-destroying bug, for the second time.

You might recall my warning from three weeks ago to NOT update Fallout: New Vegas on Xbox 360. In addition to fixing bugs, the patch also corrupted many save files in the process. The newest complaint is that Honest Hearts doesn't always work, due to longstanding bugs in the 'ED-E My Love' quest. This might seem like an isolated incident, except for the response from Bethesda:

"We are aware of the issue and are working on a fix for the next patch. That said, if you already have a save game where the bug is occurring, the fix will not apply and you’ll need to revert to an earlier save prior to ED-E leaving in order to play through Honest Hearts."

Some day, I really do hope that I can sit down and play all the way through Fallout: New Vegas without worry.
