Star Wars Galaxies Fans Threaten Lawsuits
Is it really worth legal action?

Many of us have been affected by the closing of an MMO. We accept that it's the natural order of things (not every game can be Ultima Online) and so, we cherish our reamining time, sneak in a few final quests, and share a virtual glass with a friend. That's what reasonable MMO players do.

Unreasonable ones threaten to file lawsuits.

Venturebeat received messages from multiple people threatening to file a lawsuit again Sony Online Entertainment. Obviously, someone failed to read the end-user license agreement and the part where it says that SOE owns Galaxies and can do whatever the flip it wants, like color Darth Vader pink and replace all light sabers with sausages.

I might have paraphrased a wee bit.

Instead of complaining, diehard fans would do best to learn from the oldest MMO guilds; the ones that have stuck together through Ultima Online, EverQuest, EverQuest II, World of Warcraft, and plenty more games to come.

New DLC brings back some fan favorites to take on some pivotal roles.
