Arkane Studios, who you may know best as the developer of the excellent RPG, Arx Fatalis, is working on Bethesda's upcoming stealth-action game Dishonored. Viktor Antonov, who served as the art director on Half-Life 2, will play a central role is shaping the visual style of the game. Arkane also features the talent of Harvey Smith, who was central in the development of the first two Deus Ex games.

The new game is described as a first-person stealth-action-adventure, and is rumored to be using id Software’s latest game engine, id Tech. id Software said last year that it would only be sharing its engine technology with studios within the Zenimax family.

Bethesda parent company Zenimax acquired Arkane last year for an undisclosed amount of money.

For those seeking more information on the game, the next issue of Game Informer magazine will offer an inside look at Dishonored. Look for that on newsstands soon.
