SOE Reveals Summer DC Universe Online DLC
Players join forces with the Green Lantern Corps. later this year.

Sony Online Entertainment announced the first Downloadable Content (DLC) pack for DC Universe Online (DCUO), "Fight for the Light." The DLC asks players to join the fabled The Green Lantern Corps. alongside legendary Green Lantern Hal Jordan. It also introduces the game's seventh power set - Light. The new downloadable content releases this summer for both PC and PlayStation 3.

In addition to the new light power set, players will be able to interact with Green Lantern in several new scenarios:

In a new S.T.A.R. Labs scenario, players go deep within the facility, where Brainiac seeks to control experimental devices that will allow him to harness the power source behind the Corps' rings. Players must join a fragile truce between the Green and Yellow Lantern Corps to bring the devices back under S.T.A.R. Labs' control.

In a new Coast City scenario, players fight their way through the "City Without Fear" to Ferris Aircraft, the home of fighter ace Hal Jordan. There they face the wrath of the Red Lantern Corps in a showdown to save the city.

Finally, a new scenario set within the walls of Sciencells Prison on the Green Lantern Corps' home planet of Oa sees players join forces with Guy Gardner to stop a prison break that threatens to release the most feared prisoners of the Green Lantern Corps. Villains will fight alongside Sinestro as he attempts to release the Green Lantern Corps' greatest foes and retrieve the evil Lyssa Drak from her emerald powered prison cell.

DC Universe Online's "Fight for the Light" DLC pack will be available for download for $9.99 USD this summer for PC and PlayStation 3 players. You can find out more about the game by visiting www.DCUniverse.com .
