Epic Games has released the August 2011 UDK Beta, and highlights some of the more interesting projects being designed by the enthusiast development community. The new UDK is available for download at

New to the August UDK release is a movie capture system, material functions, adaptive tessellation, iCloud document saving for iOS and much more. Epic claims that they have made lots of improvements to the Unreal Editor, including Unreal Matinee, Unreal Cascade, AnimSet Viewer, the material editor and other tools.
