Konami Reveals Winning Eleven Online
Company teams with NHN for online soccer game.

Konami announced today that it is working with Seoul-based NHN to develop an online version of its popular soccer (or football if you are in Europe) game franchise Winning Eleven (AKA Pro Evolution Soccer here in America). that will debut for PCs in Korea starting next year.

Dubbed Winning Eleven Online, the game is set to debut in Korea first, but both NHN and Konami are seeking licensing deals to bring the game into Europe and westward.

Feature details and other requirements, beyond owning an Internet-connected PC, were not revealed. The Online game will be released sometime next year.
