Orcs Must Die! Pre-Load on Steam Today
Official demo also available now for those that want to take the game for a test run.

Robot Entertainment passed along word that its latest game, Orcs Must Die!, is now available for pre-purchase on Steam for $14.99. Along with the pre-purchase of the game comes the release of the demo for this action-strategy game. The demo lets players to battle through the first three fortresses of the game. Players can see how laying traps combined with good old fashioned killing combine to create a unique experience fro strategy fans. The full game releases on October 12th.

Players who pre-load Orcs Must Die! on Steam will also unlock an exclusive code for the Knight of the Order downloadable costume for the game’s hero, the War Mage. Once unlocked, players can play through the entire campaign of Orcs Must Die! wearing the custom armor and wielding the Hammer of War in place of the War Mage’s default Bladestaff.

Robot Entertainment has also issued a challenge to the PC gaming community to kill 250 million orcs. When that goal is met a free Orc Slayer costume will unlock for the entire PC community. The “Orc Slayer” features a darker, more menacing version of the War Mage’s standard costume, and he carries a deadly, dual-bladed version of the Bladestaff.
