Diablo 3 has finally been rated in South Korea after a rather lengthy delay. The game stalled in the ratings process when the ratings board complained about the auction house feature for its similarities to gambling. The problem has been resolved, and the Korean Game Rating Board has given the game an "18-and-up" rating.
This should allow Blizzard to roll out the worldwide release of the game later this year without having to worry about losing one of its biggest markets. South Korea is such a important to Blizzard, because fans are very fanatical about the company's games. For example there are television networks dedicated to the competitive sport that is Starcraft.
