Ultimate Arena Interview
Co-founder Dennis 'Thresh' Fong spills the beans on this interesting online gaming for cash competition company.
Date: 25 August 2003
Author: James 'Prophet' Fudge

GameShark: Tell us about some of the "official UA events" taking place now (UT/UT 2003 XBOX Giveaway comes to mind) and what you have planned in the weeks and months ahead.

Thresh: We have many tournaments and events planned in the coming months with very significant cash prizes. We'll be making some big announcements about new tournaments we're sponsoring soon.

GameShark: Final question: Online competitions for cash is not a new idea but it looks like Ultimate Arena is pulling it off. What in your opinion, is the next evolution of this type of service or what is your company's vision for it in the long haul - beyond just being successful?

Thresh: Our ultimate goal is to add a little excitement to online gaming. If we can do that with our service, then we'll consider that a big success.

A big thanks to Dennis for talking with us about Ultimate Arena. You can learn more about Ultimate Arena by visiting www.ultimatearena.com . Stay with GameShark for the latest UA events, game additions and news as it becomes available.
