From blown gas tanks to splintered wooden doors to frozen foliage shattered by gunfire, Crysis leverages DirectX 10 for outstanding graphics and realistic physics. Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE 2, on which the game runs, provides unbelievably rich high-definition visuals. The attention to detail is absolutely astounding—much of the game looks photorealistic. With stunning visuals and action-packed gameplay, it’s easy to understand why Crysis is one of the year’s most anticipated titles. We can’t help but to want to play more, especially multiplayer of which we know little about. Fortunately, the wait shouldn’t be long as Electronic Arts is prepping Crysis for release later this year.
