E3 2008: Borderlands Preview
That's a lot of guns...
Date: Monday, July 21, 2008
Author: Toni Dimayuga

In Borderlands you can also engage in vehicular combat. In the demo, the soldier and hunter were attacked by roaming bandits. If you’re playing co-op, you can easily switch seats with your friend and take turns as the driver and gunner. And naturally in an inhospitable, alien world like Pandora, you will encounter strange creatures that are more than happy to eat you. Nasty armored giant dog-like things called skags are everywhere, waiting for you to become their lunch.

Borderlands looks like a cool, fun game, at least on seeing the early E3 demo; though I hope that the finished product will have more than just weapon count to brag about.2K is planning an '09 release so it's still a ways off.
