Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Preview
A slight twist added to the MMO genre, but will it work?

When you have at least two demons in your collection, feel free to combine them into an even better demon. Simply trot over to the Cathedral of Shadows with your pets and let the gene splicing commence. As far as I know in the game there isn’t a master list of all the possible demon combos, but you can bet that somewhere on the great interwebs is an exhaustive demon recipe website created by some dedicated players.

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine shows some promise with its storyline, and demon catching and creating, sounds like a lot of fun. However, I wonder if this will be enough to keep players busy. The endcap is currently at 90 (with plans to increase it), but so far there are only several dozen quests available. Yes, grinding exists in every MMORPG to some extent, but I hope that another hundred or so more quests are added before the game goes live, or risk being a complete grindfest.
