Simply put: BioShock delivers.

System Shock and its sequel are both regarded as two of the best and most influential games ever made. They also were duds in terms of sales. BioShock needs to sell well. It really does. It needs to restore my faith in the consumer, because if a game like this doesn’t sell—and if BioShock ends up being yet another critically acclaimed game that the general public ignores then we’re all wasting our time writing reviews in the first place. Folks, this is just about as good as it gets.
