Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath Review
10 out of 15
A fun yet non-essential add-on to the C&C franchise.

It all comes down to whether or not The Further Adventures of Kane the Loon and a new campaign mode justify the upgrade. It’s an average expansion at best that seems to coast a bit on how great the core game is. That’s not a bad thing, of course. Command and Conquer 3 is a finely tuned hodgepodge of balance and explosions and variety. Mess too much with it and you lose what makes the game so much fun.

But there is a sense of ennui here. Kane’s Wrath adds a couple of nice things, but where Asian Dynasties played with the conventions of Age of Empires III, and Kingdoms further emphasized the great parts of Medieval 2: Total War, this expansion simply walks along a path that was already clearly marked.
