Overlord set to Raise Hell on PS3
Get your minions ready!
Date: Tuesday, February 26, 2008
Author: Jeff 'Judasen' McAllister

The original Overlord game was a hit on the 360 and now Playstation 3 owners are getting a chance to be nefarious as well. Overlord: Raising Hell will mark the game's first appearance on the Sony Playstation 3 and deliver the complete experience, including all expansion content, in one exclusive edition. Overlord is set in a seriously twisted fantasy world that has players being ruthless, determined, and even a little cruel as they pillage lands and conquer kingdoms in order to be proclaimed the all-powerful Overlord. At the heart of the game is an army of slavish little creatures known as Minions, and their presence provides Overlord: Raising Hell with its deliciously dark comedic touches.

Players will amass armies of up to 50 Minions as they explore and conquer the world's five domains. In addition to offering a complete collection of Overlord content, including online co-operative pillaging and head-to-head slaughter, the Playstation 3 system edition will also be enhanced with detailed visuals, a top-spec audio system with 7.1 surround sound and gameplay refinements, such as the addition of an on-screen mini-map. Look for Overlord: Raising Hell to hit the Playstation 3 later this summer.
