PS3 Fanboy is reporting that there is a new map and a new gametype available for the European Metal Gear Online Beta. The beta now has a third map entitled, Midtown Maelstrom, and set in the ruins of a battle damaged town.

The new gameplay mode is called Sneaking Mission and allows one player to take the role of Snake as he tries to capture dog tags off other players by using his very cool OctoCamo and Solid Eye.

If there are more than 10 players playing, then another player is added to the hunt in the form of Metal Gear MKII to assist Snake. As for the rest of the players in the game, they fill out the red and blue teams as normal and need to take out Snake within a set time limit to win.
