Konami has unveiled a new team-based game mode for Metal Gear Online. The new mode is available to all users of Metal Gear Online and adds a clever new way to enjoy the game.

In Bomb Mission, teams are charged with destroying or protecting an area on the game map. Players are charged with either planting timed explosives in the city and protecting the bomb until it goes off; or nullifying the explosive with a coolant solution, thus making for a tense battle between the two teams. All this is played against a tight time limit, and shows the versatility of the Metal Gear Online game engine.

This new Bomb Mission Mode will be available on Tuesday, January 27th.
