Konami has announced that a video game based on the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse is currently in development for Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

“Konami is excited to partner with Cartoon Network Enterprises on Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse,” said Careen Yapp, Vice President of Licensing and Business Development for Konami. “Our position as industry leader in creating unique gaming experiences through licensed material coupled with Adult Swim’s pedigree as leader in creating ground-breaking programming is what is going to make Metalocalypse such a great project for us to publish.”

I’m pretty sure I’m the only person on the face of the earth that can’t stand this cartoon. Something about sitting there listening to people “talk” when you can’t understand a word they are saying just doesn’t do it for me. It's like nails down a chalkboard. Regardless, there is no info on the pricing yet, but the game is scheduled to be released sometime this winter.
