Capcom has confirmed details of the Dark Void pre-order offer, which will reward early adopters with an in-game golden jetpack when the game is released for the PS3, 360 and PC on January 15th 2010. No details are available as of yet as to which retailers will offer the blinged out jetpack however.

Dark Void’s jet pack is the game’s definitive feature, allowing the player to switch between run and gun, hover mode and full blown flight mode at the press of a button, and those that pre-order will be able to use a golden jet pack as they play. And it’s not all about the bling, as the golden jet pack will also feature infinite thrust in hover mode – a boon in any of the game’s thrilling vertical encounters.

Dark Void is a new sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and on-foot combat set in a parallel universe called “The Void”. Players will take on the role of Will; a pilot who while on a routine air cargo flight crashes in the Bermuda triangle leaving him trapped in the Void. Will soon finds himself swept into a desperate struggle for survival at the head of a group called The Survivors. Trapped in the Void, these resistance fighters are battling to hold off a mysterious alien race that plans to threaten Earth.
