2K Games and Gearbox have revelaed that The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, the first in a series of downloadable content for Borderlands, will be available for download for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 starting on November 24th, 2009 for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99, respectively.

Players will need a copy of the original Borderlands game in order to experience the ferocious brain-eating zombies, carnivorous Were-Skags and more as you continue your pursuit for all of that sweet, sweet loot. As one of probably the very few people in the gaming world to have played this yet, I know not what a Were-Skag is, but hey it has zombies and if anything will make me finally pick up a game, it's zombies. And a doctor named Ned.
