Versality Box 2 To Allow For Easy Game Recording

XCM has announced the Versality Box 2. Compatible with all major home and portable consoles, the Vbox 2 enables video game playback on laptop, desktop or even netbook displays. Every major console to date is supported by the device including the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 and even the PSP 2000/3000 to name a few.

XCM’s Vbox2 possesses an intelligent system that allows for the recording of gameplay directly to a hard drive for easy editing and playback. Gamers can easily capture gameplay and share it with the gaming world.

Although no pricing or official release date has been announced other than “near the end of April”, the Vbox 2 will support streaming video that can be stored in a variety of formats including MPEG-1/MPEG-2/MPEG-4/AVID/VCD/DVD and SVCD as well as multiple picture file formats including JPEG and GIF as well as input support from NTSC/PAL/SECAM.
