As we let you know yesterday, the 2K Sports prize of one million dollars was claim by a mystery person by pitching a perfect game in MLB 2K10. The lucky person with the golden virtual arm is know known to be 24-year-old Wade McGilberry of Semmes, Alabama

"It was actually my wife who convinced me to go for it," said Wade McGilberry, winner of 2K Sports' Perfect Game competition. "I never thought I'd actually win a million dollars playing a video game, it's all still sinking in for me." Wade threw a verified perfect game on the first day of the competition, a feat thought by many to be impossible. He went on to add, "The game itself was fantastic - I'm glad I bought it either way ¬- but I have to say, this is a nice return on my investment."

On the first day. Geez. I don’t think 2K will be making anymore million dollar contest in the near future.
