Blacklight: Tango Down, the upcoming FPS for XBLA, PSN and PC from Ignition Entertainment will make its way from video game systems to comic books this July.

Ignition Entertainment and Storm Lion have announced a single shot comic book based on the upcoming multiplayer-focused first-person-shooter Blacklight: Tango Down, currently in development at Zombie Studios.

The comic book follows an elite covert ops team as they fight off crazed civilians while trying to rescue an officer from behind enemy lines. The plot ties to the upcoming game while expanding on the lore with a completely separate story line. The comic book will be a pit stop on the non-traditional road the Blacklight franchise is paving, including the summer’s hottest first person shooter and a feature film currently in development.
