SEGA has announced that Crazy Taxi is now available for download on PlayStation Network, and will be available next week, Nov. 24th, on Xbox LIVE Arcade for $9.99 or 800 MS Points.

“If today were the debut of Crazy Taxi, we’re certain its unique blend of arcade action and precision driving would still lead it to become one of SEGA’s most popular titles,” said Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business of SEGA of America. “This new and improved entry in the series will bring as much joy and happiness to players in 2010 as the previous games have in years past.”

In Crazy Taxi, players must barrel through traffic-packed streets, hurtle off parking garages, and crazy dash their way to big money in a frantic race to scare up the most fares. In addition to being digitally re-mastered in HD, Crazy Taxi includes leaderboards and trophy awards, two game modes (Arcade and Original) and 16 mini games to hone players’ insane driving skills.
