Serious Sam Heads Undground
Indie developers take on the musclebound hero.

In what will become The Serious Sam Indie Series, Croteam is letting three indie developers put their own spins on the gun-toting hero. The games will be released in the coming months leading up to the summer release of Serious Sam 3.

Mommy's Best Games, best known for Explosionade and Shoot 1-Up, is giving Serious Sam: Double D the sidescrolling treatment with hand-drawn artwork and an undisclosed weapon-stacking system.

Vlambeer, of Super Crate Box, is taking Serious Sam: The Random Encounter in the completely opposite direction with a turn-based strategy game.

Finally, Be-Rad Entertainment of Lame Castle, is hitting the mobile scene with Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack!

New DLC brings back some fan favorites to take on some pivotal roles.
