Mass Effect Gets Anime Treatment
FUNimation at the helm again.

EA and FUNimation have signed a deal with T.O Entertainment as co-producer to create an animated feature based on the Mass Effect video games.

Casey Hudson of BioWare, executive producer of the Mass Effect series, will serve as executive producer on the film, along with FUNimation President and CEO Gen Fukunaga and Director of Original Entertainment Chris Moujaes and T.O. Entertainment's CEO Takeichi Honda and Yui Shibata.

The Mass Effect anime is expected to be available summer of 2012. FUNimation is also currently working on the Dragon Age animated feature.
