Sony Online Entertainment Down as Well
Sony investigating possible effects of intrusion.

SOE, the online division of Sony that operates online games including Everquest 2 and DC Universe Online, has been taken down. This announcement comes four days after SOE assured customers that, "to the best of our knowledge, no customer personal information got out," as a result of the hostile intrusion that forced Sony to take down the PlayStation Network and Qriocity.

All SOE websites are redirecting to the following message:

"Dear Valued SOE Customers,

We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday). We apologize for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.
