PSN Outage Affects Retail
PS3 sales dropping, trade-ins rising.

Gamers aren't the only people upset by the continuing PSN outage. Small developers, lawmakers, and major publishers have all been affected.

In a recent article by EDGE, brick-and-mortar retailers are witnessing significantly slower sales of PS3 systems and games, pre-orders swapped for Xbox 360 versions, and a sharp rise in the number of used PS3s being sold back to stores.

Sony has assured customers regarding the safety of personal information and promised customers 30 free days of Playstation Plus, but one fact remains that can't be changed by gestures of goodwill: people want to play their games.
