Best Buy and 2K Sports are teaming up to celebrate the release of NBA 2K 12 with a special midnight opening event and in-store appearance by Earvin "Magic" Johnson on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 8:00pm to midnight (PDT).

Magic will be at the West LA Best Buy (11301 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles) on October 3. During the event Magic will be signing autographs for the first 200 fans in line along with the Laker Girls,

a 3D digital photo booth where fans can create their own NBA 2K12 game cover starring their image and hands-on time with the game at several game stations.

NBA 2K12 is rated E by the ESRB and will be available October 4, 2011.
