Clive Barker's Jericho Comic Con Preview
Clive Barker's way-too active imagination leads to a surprising, wild, and all together gruesome looking new shooter from Codemasters.

Other characters we didn't get the opportunity to play include Father Rawlings, an exorcist who can heal party members, Corporal Cole, a math genius, and Captain Jones, a remote viewer. It is worth noting that even though you control one character at any given time, you can issue basic tactical commands to the other members of your squad via the directional pad. When faced with blood-sucking enemies spiky-handed demons, issuing an attach order can be a good thing. You shouldn’t expect a hard-core tactics game here; it’s still basically a fast paced shooter.

Jericho looks absolutely fantastic, even in this unfinished state and although we only played through a single level, we're impressed with what Jericho promises to offer. The mix of paranormal action and tactics is playing out nicely. We're interested in taking out beta squad and exploring additional levels to get a feel for their abilities. Fortunately, we won't have to wait long since Jericho will be shipping on Xbox 360 as well as PlayStation 3 and PC later this year, hopeully around the first of October.
