The one difference between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions we do know about is in the roster of playable characters. Exclusive to PlayStation 3 is Darth Vader, whereas Yoda is on the Xbox 360. Accordingly to Bandai-Namco, the decision regarding which character was to hit which platform was based solely on marketing; in short, Darth Vader's red and black matched PlayStation 3, similar to Yoda's green hue complementing Xbox 360's neon logo. How thoughtful. We'd recommend picking up the PlayStation 3 version just to play as Darth Vader, but since he wasn't playable we'd be offering nothing more than a misguided fan boy request. Either way, we came away thoroughly impressed with Soul Calibur IV and we can’t wait to see more of what the fourth edition has to offer.
