A first look at this hair-bending action game from the newly minted crew at Platinum Games.

Quirky and action games go together like peanut butter and chocolate, so it doesn't surprise us to see Bayonetta introduce wild new ideas. Nevertheless, it's hard not to wonder if it won't be a bit too bizarre. From this early first look, it's clear that Platinum Games has a title worthy of running with the big boys in the genre; however, it's too early to tell if the unique elements will be a hindrance or help when it cuts loose next year.
