Damnation Preview
Whether you do or you don't, Codemasters' forthcoming shooting will still have you shouting what in tarnation.
Date: Monday, September 29, 2008
Author: Tracy Erickson

By virtue of its unique premise, Damnation deserves a look. Consider the ambitious blend of action and platforming, and the game becomes even more intriguing. That, however, doesn't prevent us from being wary of several potential pitfalls. Enemies lack sophisticate behavior, which could negatively affect the quality of combat. Additionally, more tuning of the platform sequences is needed to reduce the rate of accidental death. With the game's mid-December release more than two months off, Blue Omega still has time to work out the kinks.
