FIFA Street 3 Review
10 out of 15
Big Fun -- no depth.

In addition to the lack of game play modes, there’s a dearth of teams. Only 18 nations are represented, plus the teams you can unlock in the FIFA Street Challenge. Granted, they’re 18 of the world’s most powerful and popular teams, but when nations that have players like Dieder Drogba and Michael Essien (Ivory Coast and Ghana, respectively – both in the 2006 World Cup) aren’t represented, something’s missing. With all of the teams in EA’s FIFA 08, EA Big should’ve street-i-fied more of the world’s best nations and players.

FIFA Street 3 plays a very fun over-the-top, yet seemingly plausible (for the most part) game of soccer very reminiscent of futsal and indoor soccer. It lacks pace, but makes up for it with skills and basic soccer strategy. What it lacks is teams and depth in its gameplay modes. It’s a great game for players who love to venture online, as a party game, or for players with readily available human opponents, like in a college dormitory or something similar, but single players won’t get enough for their money. Regardless, it’s at least worth a rental for a few hours of fun.
